Full time position in the Family Assessment Unit at Wright County Human Services.  This position will work directly with families, many of whom are resistive and non-compliant, to address dysfunctional issues therapeutically, to help them make behavior changes, and develop skills needed to succeed.  Intensive therapeutic services are provided on an individual and/or group level to prevent or reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect, prevent or shorten out of home placements, and give families intervention skills to deal with challenging behaviors of family members.  Services also include crisis assistance, medication monitoring and clinical consultation.  Min. Qual: Master’s degree from a recognized school of social work, clinical/counseling psychology or related field and 2 years work experience (post Master’s degree) as a social worker or related experience.  Preferred Qualifications: Candidate has Certification as a Mental Health Professional in order to provide clinical consultation, support and mental health expertise.  Hiring Range: $17.98 - $19.76/hr.  Salary Range: $17.98 - $29.29/hr.
