Commissioner Karla Heeter - District 1
Commissioner Heeter serves on the following County Committees: Building, Capital Improvement/Finance, Civil Defense, Deferred Compensation, Detention Facilities, EMS Advisory Council (Local)/Wright County Fire Chiefs Assn., EMS Council (Regional), Highway 55 Coalition, Owners, Technology, and Wright County Community Action Council. She also serves on the Clearwater Watershed District Board, M.E.A.D.A. (Meth Education Drug Awareness), Safe Communities of Wright County, and the Wright County Ag Society Board. District 1 includes: Annandale City, Buffalo City Precincts #1 & #2, Chatham Township, Clearwater City and Township, Corinna Township, Maple Lake Township, and Silver Creek Township. Commissioner Heeter was first elected to the County Board in 2003 to fill a half term through 2004. Her current term will expire December 31, 2008. She lives in Silver Creek Township.
